Partnered with Compex, a provider of IT services to the U.S. Department of Defense since 1985, we develop reliable custom solutions for secure networking and data access for government agencies, public safety & homeland security, private sector, educational institutions, law enforcement, banks, construction, and retail markets. We have Network Operations Centers in McLean, Virginia and San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Mobile Universe owns and operates two fully redundant DVB-S2 satellite hubs installed in teleports in Hagerstown, Maryland and Atlanta, Georgia.

Our satellite hubs are tied to the Intelsat GXS network which provides worldwide coverage. GXS is a state-of-the-art network integrating a worldwide ground infrastructure of teleports, 6 PoP in strategic traffic exchange points, multi-homing Tier 1 IP Nodes and seamless fiber connections with path diversity. The GXS network is integrated with Intelsat’s global fleet of 51 satellites to provide services that enable the delivery of voice, data, video and IP applications to users in developed or underserved areas around the world – with ease, reliability and economic efficiencies.

Beginning in 2002, COMPEX Corporation has expanded to serve the broadband internet needs of the island of Puerto Rico. Harry Garcia, president of COMPEX Corporation, knew the timing was right to bring his company’s satellite-based broadband service solutions to his native Puerto Rico.
